Jeffrey Kuhn is a computer scientist and data scientist who works with firms in software-related technologies, including machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, systems architecture, and computer vision. He has represented a range of clients, including Salesforce, Casetext, Thompson Reuters, Claryo, Robust.AI, Dell, Cisco, and Fyusion. His practice is particularly focused on generative AI and agentic technologies.

In addition to his deep technical background, he draws on both his legal and academic experience in IP strategy when counseling clients. Previously a professor at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, he has published papers on accelerated examination, patent citations, and prediction models for patent applications in journals such as the Rand Journal of Economics, the Review of Economics and Statistics, and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. He is an experienced programmer and has taught social science PhD courses on data science and econometrics.
